SERF, Squamish's home-grown festival, brings the community together to enjoy live music and life by the sea.

Now in it's third year, SERF (the Squamish Equinox Rock Festival) started as a way to gather the community to enjoy our newly accessible ocean front land, an amazing natural resource, and celebrate the changing of the season.

SERF aspires to be a launch pad for talent - local, regional and national.

SERF 2008 featured Hey Rosetta! from St. John's, Newfoundland, a group of 6 very talented musicians who played the Media Club during JunoFest 2009 in Vancouver. Headlining the bill were Five Alarm Funk and Alpha Ya Ya Diallo, both veterans of the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.

Last year SERF attracted attendees from Washington, Oregon, Alberta, Vancouver, Whistler and, of course, Squamish.
