Born and raised in Southwestern BC, Yukon (YukMC) Sleeman started playing music at the age of 8. Trained in classical and jazz trumpet by his Grandma, Anita Sleeman (Composer and Doctor of Music), YukMC quickly picked up other instruments, piano, guitar, percussion. This led to the 1997 hookup with P.U.C.K. (Previously Unknown Canadian Kids). After doing instrumental work on 1997's album "Villains of Villainville", it was time for YukMC to pick up the Mic. He never looked back, going on to appear on 7 P.U.C.K. Crew albums. In that time, P.U.C.K. performed over 30 live shows around BC. After splitting from the group in 2000, YukMC released his first solo album that same year, the "YukMC's Greatest Hitz" EP.
2001 saw the completion of his second EP, "The Story", under the monacher 'Unikronik'. in 2003, YukMC performed the closing track on Peter Stebbings short film "Danny & D' Fairy G". The next few years saw YukMC start to hone his craft. leading to the 2006 EP "The Krazy Shitz Return", as well as scoring the entire soundtrack to the short film "Friday the 31st, Part 7" in 2008. In 2009, YukMC released his first full-length album "Some Days".
