Trish Jamieson

"Jamieson's raspy voice combined with searing emotional content and an engaging ease on the guitar, has audiences transfixed"  The Pique Newsmagazine

Trish Jamieson is a singer and songwriter living in beautiful Whistler, British Columbia. A local favorite on the music scene, her style could be best described as soulful pop. She has a unique sound, delivering strong guitar rhythms and a voice of power, softness, gravel and sweetness all rolled into one.

Trish is continually writing music and is currently working on some new recordings. Not to be limited however, her performances also include a wide variety of cover songs she performs in a quirky and unique way, making each song "her own." A typical Trish show may include a Blondie song followed by Michael Jackson, Tom Petty, Sinead O'Connor, Ottis Redding, Beyonce, Radiohead, Patsy Cline, or The Devinyls.... Just about anything that will keep the crowd guessing and grooving.

Some performance highlights for Trish include opening for Dr. Hook at the Kapuskasing Lumberjack Festival, opening for jazz singer Andrea Koziol at MY Millenium place, performing three times on the Barn Dance Stage during the Pemberton Festival and most recently, she was featured as the guest musican on a special live airing, Olympic edition of CBC radio's "On The Coast".

Currently, Trish can be found performing at a variety of Sea to Sky locations: The Chophouse, the Whistler Farmers Market, The Pemberton Hotel, The Pony Espresso, Blacks Pub and Onatah Coffee. She also keeps her schedule very busy with performances at special events and weddings.

Trish has been living in the Sea to Sky area for 10 years. In addition to being a talented musician, she is a passionate alpine skier and mountain biker. In her "day life" she can be found working as a nordic ski patroller at the Whistler Olympic Park and is also an outdoor education instructor.
